Our commercial stump grinder chips the stump and major surface roots down to 6-12 inches below grade, giving you a clean surface that can be filled, planted, or covered with landscape material. The grinding process produces a pile of wood chips and soil mix that we can either leave for you to use as mulch, or haul away and backfill the hole with clean topsoil — your choice. We remove all visible surface roots connected to the stump and grind them below grade so they don't become tripping hazards or block future landscaping. For stumps in tight spaces — between buildings, next to foundations, inside fenced areas with narrow gates — we have equipment that fits. We'll assess access before the job and confirm that we can reach the stump without damaging your property. We also handle stumps left behind by other tree removal companies. If someone took your tree down but left the stump, we'll grind it out and clean up the area.
